Due to the extreme load on Livestation during the Egyptian protests, we have been working extremely hard to maintain our servers which are taking around 800% more hits than usual.
We've hit just about every server limit there is, and as such it is taking a while to work up the chain to all affected parts of the website.
Our media servers are working flat out as well, so please do keep trying to connect as it does work after a few tries! If you get 'Stream not found' or similar, don't refresh the whole page, just keep pressing the play button on the player until it connects.
You can also watch our official streams at htp://www.dailymotion.com/livestation or on Al Jazeera's websites. They are all supplied by Livestation as well.
The attached graph shows how our traffic has changed since December, first with the Tunisian, and next with the Egyptian protests.
Thank you all for your amazing support and our best wishes go out to the Egyptian people.

Hey Joe -Here in Vancouver, I'm getting the best live-stream on the daesktop player I've seen in months. Keep up the good work!
Mark.
Service update: We have now ironed out some more severe bottlenecks in the system, and as a result have smashed all records for site and player consumption.
We'll be upgrading some more hardware today, so there might be occasional downtime while we shut down some servers, but the long-term performance increase will be worth it!
Thank you Al jazeera you made me proud to say where i am from , you are unifying the Arab population against the dictators. Love you kATAR .
I'm having trouble viewing it on my Playstation 3 as well.
@Anon - sorry, our playstation version is not working properly at the moment. You can watch AJE on Al Jazeera's website on your PS3 at http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now while we get this fixed.
Service Update: We have upgraded several backend and frontend servers and with the traffic levels dropping back a bit from their peak, the website is performing well.
We have learnt a lot over the last two weeks and will continue to apply these learnings to the platform over the next week, meaning that Livestation should work better than ever!
it seems that the streams for AlJazeera and AlArabiya are down... any chance to get them back up soon? PLEASE, we need to watch the news re Egypt. Thanks...
Since I upgraded to the PRO player I have had more "click to reconnect" messages happen, and when clicking it won't work, more dropped connections and overall NO better quality. Maybe even slightly worse than before.
I'm guessing today must be one of the busier days for you guys!
catching up with it at home after a long time away... downloading the new client new.
After the last revelation of the white house, which reaffirms that only account of the security of Israel We want to know Obama and governing european countries 'that the revolution of the people comes from the people and neither the government Americans nor the European governments have the merit of having supported the dictators who were rampant in the world

salam how are you tv mobil???
I really don't care about this at all. As a premium subscriber I was under the impression I'd get priority over non-premium subscribers just casually watching on the livestation website or even using the client but still, even to this day, I'm experiencing lag spikes and choppy picture from time to time. Sometimes the stream isn't even found when I try to connect and sometimes it randomly disconnects. I might as well cancel and go with the standard version seeing as it doesn't look like you're able to output AJE or Bloomberg HD properly and consistently.
@Alexander
It comes with the territory, local conditions. Sorry you are peeved. Technology still in its infancy therefore satisfaction not fully guaranteed, insurrection throughout the Middle East including Turkey is, and Africa too. Glad we are kept fully apprised.
Joe, in Canada (only in Canada, you say?) I believe that we cannot obtain the BBC News app with live streaming, while such apps as France24 and AJ work fine. Apparently Steve Jobs does not like Apple products using some sort of plug-in (or whatever), I think offerred by Adobe [?], which it is claimed can damage something inside my MacBook Pro (Je ne sais quoi?). Know you if this still be the case?
If others can build apps which run satisfactorally on my iPhone, and which, of course, are first vetted by Apple, then whats with the BBC? The whole thing seems "much 'ado about F. A."
About the BBC News app, I replied to you in a ticket.
You can our channels on your iPhone on our mobile site at m.livestation.com
